Line and Shape
Black and White Images (In/Out of School)
The photo I chose was the 2nd photo in the first row. I took the picture on a street in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in April 2015. The distance in the photo can be looked at in many different ways because it looks like the street goes on forever because the buildings line up. My point of view was on a sidewalk on the street, taking the picture straight on and vertical. In this picture i did not consider the rule of thirds because everything lines up and the picture doesn't need to be divided up. When the viewer looks at the picture, it looks like the street is a big street because of how the roofs of the building line up, making the end of the street look far far away.
Pattern and Texture
The best photo that I took was the 2nd photo in the top row, the lockers. I took the picture up close to the lockers, and angled my phone to make the photo seem never ending . I took the photo straight on I had angled my phone as well. My photo is stationed to be vertical. Yes, this picture does follow the rule of thirds because the focal point is to the right of the picture. This photo is an example of pattern.
Shutterspeed/Motion
For the slow shutterspeed, I did the picture of the tumbling. The shutterspeed I used in that photo was 1/30. I blurred a picture of two girls tumbling mid-tumble. I took the picture from a few feet away, and straight on, not at a direct angle. The ISO was also 400. For the fast shutterspeed. I used the black and white picture of the bubbles. The ISO that I used was 400. The school looks kinda blurry. My point of view is from the photo is zoomed in to give the bubbles a larger shape.
